File uploads in the Files module by any user contribute to your file storage limit. When you reach your limit, our team will get in touch and ask that you make space or upgrade your account.
The CRM shows you the name, email, status, and other information of each client.
Use custom fields to organize clients on the CRM. There are currently 7 types of custom fields — Phone number, eMail, URL, Text, Number, Address, and Tags.
If you manage a large number of clients you might find that some internal users are responsible only for a subset of all clients. For example, if you have account managers you may not want them to see or get notified about all client activity.
On the CRM you can assign one or more internal users to a client. Only those internal users that are explicitly assigned to a client can see the client and associated data. Similarly, only internal users assigned to a client receive notifications that pertain to that client
Use Portal API and Zapier triggers to set up automated workflows.
Host your portal on your own domain. Typically a custom domain URL will look like "portal.<yourcompany>.com".
Send email notifications from an internal email. Typically the email sender will look like “notifications@<yourcompany>.com”.
Remove the “Powered by Portal” badge.

Portal lets you provide an integrated tech-enabled experience to your clients. With Portal, you can let your clients login on your own website to share files, sign documents, make payments, send messages, and more.
Portal is completely white-label. After your portal is set up, you can connect a custom domain, upload your brand assets, and customize the look and feel of the product.
Portal is intended for any business that has significant client interaction. 75% of Portal customers operate in financial services, marketing, consulting, legal, and technology.

It usually takes about 20 minutes to set up a portal. If you'd like to do a migration from another tool, we have a process set up for that. Please email our migration team.
At this time, we can support portals with up to 200 internal users and 10,000 client users. For larger teams, we have functionality that lets you assign account owners to clients.
All payments are made via credit card for Standard and Professional plans. For Enterprise customers, we can issue an annual invoice with payment via PO and/or ACH, wire, or check. Please contact sales for more information.
There are no set up fees or other hidden fees. We also don't require a yearly upfront payment. We want you to use the product because it is good, not because you were tricked into a long-term contract.
If your free trial runs out and you haven't yet picked a plan, you will not be able to fully use Portal and invite new clients. You will be prompted with a window to choose a plan after you log in. Your portal may also be deleted 30 days after your trial runs out.
Portal is designed in a modular way so that you can enable only the functionality that makes sense for your business. After your portal is created, you can update which modules you have turned on in your settings.
A marketing website is a page that any person can access without logging in and usually provides background about your business, team, and services. On the other hand, a portal can only be accessed by your clients after logging in. The most common setup is to have a marketing website with a button in the top called "Client portal" that links to the portal experience.
